Yo, yo, yo! What’s good, Wise Central fam? Let your boy Snoop drop some knowledge real quick—because the Wise Central Lady Warriors are out here ballin’ like queens of the court, baby! Last night? Oh, they reminded everybody why they’re the seven-time Class 2 state champs. Gate City tried to hang, but the Lady Warriors said, “Not today, nephew. This is our kingdom!”
Full-Court Heat
The Lady Warriors came out swingin’ with that full-court press, forcing 27 turnovers and jumpin’ to a blazing 22-4 lead right out the gate. Gate City didn’t know what hit ’em! Coach Robin Dotson called it straight: “Our press was our best defense tonight.” And when that press is poppin’? Ain’t nobody stoppin’ Wise Central!
Emmah McAmis: The MVP
Now let’s give it up for the superstar herself, Emmah McAmis. This girl was on fire, droppin’ a ridiculous 34 points! That’s right, 3-4. She was hittin’ threes, drivin’ the lane, and basically takin’ over.
“[Emmah] goes all out. She’s a difference-maker,” said Coach Dotson. And you already know, that’s facts. She’s headed to East Tennessee State for a reason, y’all.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
But hold up—it wasn’t a one-woman show. The Lady Warriors squad came to play:
- Abbie Jordan: 13 points, straight ballin’ like a boss.
- Kaelyn Dales: 8 points, keepin’ it solid.
- Bryce Mosier: 7 points, droppin’ dimes and playin’ smart.
And get this: 17 assists and 7 threes. That’s team basketball right there. The Lady Warriors play like a unit, and that’s why they’re unstoppable!

Now, respect where it’s due: Jaydyn Carrico from Gate City showed up and showed out with 27 points. The girl’s got game, no doubt about it. But turnovers were their kryptonite—25 giveaways against Wise Central’s pressure? That’s game over, baby.
